We are dedicated to providing top-quality yoga education to our students and to the community, by combining the authentic ancient wisdom of the yoga tradition with up to date scientific information. Our program is not associated with any one "brand", but will prepare teachers to provide safe, meaningful instruction to a wide variety of students. We are committed to our community and partner with agencies that provide free or low cost yoga classes. Our Scholarship Program ensures that financial need is not an impediment for those who wish to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga.

EVYS is unique in our approach. We are inclusive of many yoga styles, and emphasize optimal alignment for different body types and levels of experience. Beyond the physical practice, however, students gain knowledge and experience of yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, and anatomy from experienced professionals. We strive to create a yoga community that extends to all parts of our lives and relationships.
